Career Highlights

As a lawyer at Hoyle, Fickler, Herschel & Mathes LLP since the Firm’s founding in 1985, Ellen has participated in such varied cases as the defense of an outside director in stock options backdating litigation; the defense of building products manufacturers in nationwide asbestos litigation; the representation of a nonprofit organization in a dispute regarding the intended beneficiary of the proceeds of a charitable trust; and the defense of a cement manufacturer in an environmental class action. Ellen also assisted a member of the Pennsylvania Judicial Inquiry and Review Board in the investigation and preparation of opinions regarding cases of alleged judicial misconduct.
