Our attorneys have represented clients at both the trial and
appellate level in antitrust actions brought against companies conducting business
in a variety of industries. We are experienced in defending allegations of
monopolization, price fixing, refusals to deal, exclusive dealing, tie-ins,
and price discrimination, as well as defending Federal Trade Commission actions
and other actions involving application of antitrust laws to various regulated
industries and to international trade and commerce. We successfully defended
a regional electrical power pool in a suit alleging a conspiracy to restrain
trade in and monopolize the market for sale of electricity; and when it
became an Independent System Operator, we provided it with counsel on antitrust
issues in the rapidly evolving electrical power industry.
