The Firm is comprised primarily of lawyers who characterize themselves as
commercial litigators. Consequently, our lawyers have litigated contractual
disputes in a broad variety of factual contexts. For example, we have represented
an energy transmission company in a complex contract and regulatory dispute
with a major customer; investment limited partnerships in a leveraged leasing
case involving cable systems used to provide cable television to upper Manhattan;
a pharmaceutical company in an action to enforce the terms of a contract concerning
the sale of a subsidiary; a special interest on-line computer service for music
industry professionals in a dispute with its electronic host; and a railroad
and its holding company parent in a contract dispute with their lessor of inter-modal
trailers. Accordingly, no matter what the nature of the contract or the business
of the contracting parties, we seek to utilize our litigation skills in order
to maximize the likelihood that our clients will obtain the result for which
they initially contracted.
