Our Firm has represented charter schools and a charter school management company in the leading cases on the Pennsylvania Charter School Law. We successfully represented a charter school in Pennsylvania’s Commonwealth Court and Supreme Court in the first case to consider the key provisions of the Charter School Law.
We represented the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board from its creation through the ultimate grant of licenses to implement gaming in Pennsylvania. We successfully defended the Constitutionality of the gaming legislation that created the Board and defended the Board against numerous challenges to its decisions from unsuccessful applicants as well as opponents of gaming through the granting of the first Pennsylvania gaming licenses under the new Act, prevailing against the challengers in every instance.
